The New Look Sports Arbitrage Guide

Posted by Aegist on January 26th, 2007

As you can see, SAG has had its look updated and a refresh of its content conducted. It isn’t 100% complete yet, but if you find any obvious bugs, please go to the forums and report them here : http://www.dreamteammoney.com/index.php?showtopic=16751. Any comments and any suggestions you have for improvements will be appreciated.

Please check out the new Newsletter registration page and register for the SAG Newsletter so that any future big news events can be easily broadcast to everyone in the community at once rather than letting everyone find out for themselves.

(the newsletter page has some script issues which I know about, but am having trouble fixing. Just ignore them for the moment please smile.gif)

Also, advertising is available for the first time ever on SAG. See this page about it: http://www.sportsarbitrageguide.com/more/advertise.php

I hope the new site is easier to use, more informative and better looking. In any case it is easier for me to keep up to date and edit faster, so I should be able to add more information faster.

Enjoy!

(SureBetBookies database hasn’t been updated yet, that will be next on the list, as soon as I am happy SAG is not bugged.)

New Arbitrage Service - JuiceTrading

Posted by Aegist on January 12th, 2007

A brand new Sports Betting Arbitrage alert system has just entered the market on a couple of days ago, going by the name of JuiceTrading.com.

I will be starting a trial of their software soon, and will provide details and observations of that trial here like usual, but my impression so far is good. They have not only presented a positive public appearance (by simply participating in our fourms so that members can ask questions and get to know them), but they are offering an original method of payment. Their basic package is not a monthly subscription, but instead a one off payment of $99.99. That is cheaper than the average monthly subscription cost of all other competitors.

They also promise an advance package for arbers with larger bankrolls, but as they are only days old at this point, a basic package which is still cheap is a good start, and the advanced package may not be ready for a while yet.

In any case, they are offering a free 1 week trial, so they will be shortly added to the free trial page od SAG as well as the general arbitrage alerts provider list.

US Arbers Lose another Giant - Pinnacle is out

Posted by Aegist on January 11th, 2007

In a blow to US arbers which may very well spell the end, Pinnacle has ceased all US operations. the front page of their website states:

Effective Immediately…

After careful consideration, Pinnacle Sports has chosen to voluntarily exit the American market. Accordingly, wagers will no longer be accepted from clients located within the United States as of Thursday 11th January 2007.

We would like to assure all our clients that your balances are available but those clients who are affected will be required to withdraw their balances using the Cashier function on their account. Please note that any pending wagers will be honored by Pinnacle Sports. As your wagers are graded, you may use the Cashier function to request any balance due.

As ever, Pinnacle Sports will continue to provide our Canadian and International clients with the same great value they have come to expect from the World’s leading online sports book and casino.

Without Pinancle, most of the arbitrage backbone is lost. There are still lots of books left to arbitrage, but when it comes to consistency, none come close to Pinnacle. So for the US arber, things are looking pretty desperate.

BetCRIS were quick on the scene to offer to take up the displaced US bettors from Pinnacle. Another great arbitrage book, betCRIS would definitely be a worthy replacement…if only you still had Pinnacle to arb it against! Nonetheless, anyone sportsbook junkies who are just looking for a new sportsbook to tranfer across to, or a new bookmaker to replace Pinnacle with, BetCRIS are actually a very good book with equally high acceptance of arbitrageurs.

 Shane
