Update on the Safeport Act and it affect on online gambling

Posted by Aegist on November 11th, 2006

Since the US Government passed the Bill which illegalised the transaction of money from a financial institution to an international bookmaker or casino, the online gambling industry has seen a lot of confusion and panic. Share prices for sportbooks dropped drastically, websites stopped accepting US players. So, over a month further down the track now, and how does it look? Well, the main international E-wallets have already stopped depositing US member funds into sportsbook even though there is a 270 day period for the government to decide what the act actually means. Aside from that negative, many sportsbooks are inviting US players to play with them still, while many commentators are heavily critical of the act.

See these two articles from MSNBC:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15240569/

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15265338/site/newsweek/

So the opinion one month down the track is more and more that this law will become another futile law ignored by much of the populace, or else will simply be removed soon. And by and by, the vast majority of people online agree that that is a good thing. But in the meantime the affect on Arbitrageurs from the USA is being felt. If they cant use neteller, moneybookers or firepay to transfer funds quickly between books, then they’ve lost an important edge to the necessary tactics of arbing.

I’m wondering which side will break first. Will the sportsbooks invent new methods for the arbers to deposit money, or will the law be rendered innefective from the government themselves? Particularly now that the Democrats have taken over…..

News from RFP on Nov.05.2006

Posted by Aegist on November 5th, 2006

Hi Friends

Our support team has done a tremendous job to get the new call-back registration process implemented as fast as possible and once again has put in the extra hours needed to make sure that RFP has the required services available as soon as possible.

——————————————————————————–

Network
news from the field!

To help with the verification process, some of our leaders have taken on the responsibility of having their own private verification pages for known members of their group. This has been working very successfully with some tremendous growth again in the network this last week.
ATM/Debit Cards

We hear that most of the members who have sent in their ATM card registration papers have now received their card. Those who have not yet received it, please make sure that your registration papers have been sent and received by IGX. The IGX mailbox should be big enough to handle the big wave of applications but if you have waited a long time, it wont hurt to make sure that it has been accepted.

——————————————————————————–

SureBetPro

We suggest you run the SureBetPro software for a few hours one day soon. NBA, the national Basketball season kicked in fully this week and resulted in an explosion in available arbitrages. There were more than 800 arbitrages at the same time and quite a few of them were up to 7%.

So, if you have not started trading yet, download and study our comprehensive user manual, go to the live training sessions and get into action. This profession is extremely profitable and when you consider the long-term effects of compounding your profits, it is close to magic! You can make an extremely good income if you are patient and grow your portfolio step-by-step.
——————————————————————————–

Sports

Tennis - the main tennis season is nearing its end but quite a few smaller tournaments (a.k.a challenger) will still be played weekly.

American Football - is in full activity now and is producing a steady flow of good arbitrages.

Hockey - is rocking again and makes a good supplement to our existing arb providers.

Soccer - keeps on surprising with a very good arb production.

Basketball - has started and is in full production but it might be a little up and down while our tech team are fine tuning the sport in the software.

Success Stories

Thanks for a fantastic program with great earning potential! I am looking into sports arbitrage as a very interesting profession. Who could think of this - it’s a billion dollar market that actually has been there in front of us for decades and we didn’t know it even existed! Amazing! I am really looking forward to it!

Regards

In Closing!

Many members have asked us how long we will be around as they are so used to fly-by-night companies that disappear almost as soon as they appear? What makes RFP different from those companies?

When we started RFP, close to a million dollars was invested into doing the research, system development, programming and endless quality control and upgrades. We also went through 3 phases before we collected payments for the software. We made sure that the software worked 100% before we actually started the leasing agreement.

We have experienced challenges with payment gateways, banks, server facilities as well as numerous other challenges. However, we have always come through these set-backs stronger than before.

Business online is not too different from business offline, even though the banks and payment issues are a little more complicated online, especially since US started their crusade towards online business. There are ups and downs in any kind of business and it takes a strong back to handle the setbacks, which we have done and also learned a lot in the process. This has made us become stronger and stronger and we are ready to meet new challenges should they arise, although we hope they don’t.

We trust this answers the question. We did not invest all that money and time or survive the rough times to become another statistic. We have a phenomenal product that we are constantly enhancing and with your assistance, we are offering it to the world. We are very proud to say that we have a wonderful group of leaders who have stuck with us and although they are reaping some great rewards now, these are nothing to what is to come in the future. Share our wonderful concept with everyone who wants a better life than they have now. The world is your oyster - the rewards are very real.

Choose to be a WINNER with RFP!

Best Regards
RFP Management Team

Monthly Arbitrage Trading Log Records - October

Posted by Aegist on November 1st, 2006

October, Month 8
Opening Balance = $3,456.62
Bookmakers funded = 8
Bookmakers Used = 7
Number of Trades = 20
Profit = $515.74, 14.92%
Closing Balance = $3,972.36
Logged Time = Reasonable hours

Ok, what a month. This is the month where the cosmic arbing gods balanced our losses from early in our career. I don’t know what happened really, but this month seemed to be full of errors (3 to be exact), and two of those paid off really well. One won us like $140, the second was a brilliant middle which should have paid out over $800, but expekt cancelled (After they accepted the larger bet!!!!!! There is a lesson there) so we ended up just getting lucky that we still won and made around $300. Then on the last night of October we copped our first Tennis rules mismatch loss. Pinnacle canceled when Chela retired, and Ladbrokes took their money leaving us with an $80 (luckily) loss.

Anyway, looking forward to the months coming. Lets see if we can normalise our profits a bit more, but maintain something near 10% a month profit. That is the goal, and I do believe it is possible.

Further Stats:
Favourites won 13 of 20 arbs
Average arb percentage = 1.64%
Average Profit actually taken = 1.98%
Average Trade amount = $446.63
%Profit Per month average = 7.74%
Profit per month average = $261.81
