Arbitrage Academy Launched in the UK – £25 Discount with SAG Promo
After years of being asked whether I know of any arbitrage training courses or schools, I can finally say that I now do. Arbitrage Academy has just been launched by three experienced arb traders, one which I know well through ArbForum. They have put together a simple and to the point website over at ArbitrageAcademy.co.uk which outlines exactly what they are offering, how much it will cost, who they are and why they are qualified to offer this education, and of course, a booking form to register yourself for the courses available.
At this stage the Academy is only available in the UK I believe, but if there is sufficient interest in other countries, there may be scope for expanding – so if you are not UK based but really want this sort of education, then try contacting them and expressing your interest.
As for who is behind the course, the three people are Mark Jenkins (Jenx), Fonzy, and a third whose name I do not know. I don’t know Fonzy myself, but Jenx has been a major participant and genuinely helpful poster on ArbForum ever since the forum was created, and I have been in ongoing occasional contact with him for over four years now – if anyone knows his way around arbing, Jenx is definitely one of the masters. So much so, that he is even the namesake of the famous “Jenx’s Law” – the Murphy’s Law of Arbing.
I won’t go in to details on the courses themselves – all of the information is on the Arbitrage Academy website – but I certainly think there is a lot to be learned in this sort of tutorial structure (so much so that I have put a good deal of thought into creating my own ‘academy’ of this sort on several occasions!). An interactive environment where you can see demonstrations and ask questions as you go has a lot of value to it above what is available through text or video based websites. You also receive 6 months of ongoing mentoring after you take any of their courses!
More importantly I think, the advanced courses are definitely something which are probably almost completely untouched elsewhere. I know for a fact that I don’t even try to get ‘advanced’ here on Sports Arbitrage Guide. SAG always has been, and probably always will be a ‘basics’ of arbitrage. A website for the beginners. Created to help people get started and not screw it all up. But continuing, and growing, and gaining profitability – that can get hard for a lot of people. Getting a cheat-sheet from a few pros with 10 years experience each can not be a bad thing…
So, head over to their website and have a look at what they are offering. When you figure out which level of training is best suited to your level, use the promotional code “SAG” when registering for it and you will be given a £25 discount.

Is this company still in business/operational?
The booking forms on the website do not work and there is no response coming back from the contact form.

Hi karl,
That doesn’t sound promising. I haven’t received any promotional emails from them for a while now, so it sounds like they might have wound down their efforts. I will send an email to them and see what is happening.

OK, email reply already received
This is it straight from the horses mouth:
Hi Shane
We stopped doing the courses as there wasn’t enough interest but we are starting up again in a few months, with a new website and more affordable prices.

Since the email address I have isn’t associated with this particular business, I have instead emailed him the email you have used here so he can contact you. Hopefully that works OK for you?
He should be in contact soon.
