This page is where all old alert services go once they are dead. This list is really just for historic reference I guess.

WinRiskFree Software Homepage Screen Shot

Update: WinRiskFree is currently offline but according to the owner it may come back online in around 6 months time (currently October 07) with several upgrades. I will place WRF back into the active category as soon as that happens.

WinRiskFree seems to be a rather unique software based alert service. Unlike every other service I am familiar with, WinRiskFree actually downloads the lines from the bookmakers straight to the software on your computer, the software then finds the arbs for you. Since your computer is the one doing the calculations, you need to have a decent quality computer to handle the process without slowing your computer down too much and interrupting what you do. Their website even included a comment on the possibility of the software momentarily slowing your computer on every update and taking away focus from whatever program you were otherwise working on (meaning you need to re-click on the window you want). They suggest methods for avoiding this problem and fixing it.

They have a possible 34 bookmakers from which they download odds, and when an arb is found an audible alert sounds and there is an option to have the software send you an SMS if you are on one of the accepted mobile plans (Mostly US services). The monthly subscription to their service is $75, or $180 for 3 months, $540 for 12 months. A free trial download version is available which downloads lines from Pinnacle, TheGreek and SportsInteraction. Currency Converter

Nickel Vacuum Screenshot Sports Arbitrage Trading

Nickel Vacuum is an inexpensive website based arbitrage alert program which scans around 40 different bookmakers for a range of soccer, tennis and hockey bet types. Still at the very beginning of their alert service career, Nickel Vacuum have an extensive list of additions that they are making over the coming months and years. One feature they advertise which is very impressive, is their 'Frame Redirect' which actually allows you to select an arb found by their service, follow the link to the bookmaker and be directed directly to the correct page to place the bet. They also have an incredible arbitrage calculator built in to their service which allows you to single click calculate exactly how much to place on each side of the arb, and easily adjust to meat your bookmaker balances. They scan for arbs every 60 seconds.

The service is available for only $50 CAN, although it seems that this will likely go up as they continue to add features to their service. They also offer a 3 day trial for $1 CAN. Currency Converter

BetRiskFree Screenshot email arbitrage alerts

BetRiskFree has been merged with UCantLose

BetRiskFree is an email based alert system which guarantees a minimum of 20 arbs per month. As of the end of 2006 BetRiskFree entered an agreement with UCantLose whereby it was allowed to access UCantLose's arb alerts and send them out as their own at a slight delay. BetRiskFree is expected to also provide its own alerts in addition to the UCantLose alerts as it grows. BetRiskFree indicates the regular use of 107 bookmakers in its scanning process but gives no indication of what sports it searches for. The owner of BetRiskFree observes the old adage that "Quality is better than quantity", and has designed this service around that concept. He claims that their service could easily send out thousands per month like other programs, but instead they choose to check their arbs to ensure that they 1. Have a decent return of at least 1%, often as high as 4% 2. Exist when the email alert is sent 3. The arbs are made from simple easy to find bets which non-gamblers can understand, and 4. The arb matures quickly and the arbitrageur is not left waiting days or more for a payout.

They are currently providing a 1 month trial for £1. The ongoing monthly subscription fee is only £10. Currency Converter

Arb-a-Trader/SynTrader (by AusSoft/GlobalSoft/Reevera)

AusSoft GlobalSoft Reevera Homepage arbitrage trading alert software

AusSoft and all of its associated websites are now offline. The state of the software at this time is unknown to us here at SAG, but after the large upfront fee charged for it, I certainly hope the customers are still being taken care of in some regard. Please see our article on The risks of Single Upfront Payments.

Arb-a-Trader is marketed to the public by a company who operates under three different names: AusSoft/GlobalSoft/Reevera. The software is marketed by cold calling people and selling the idea of arbitrage to them as a way of making guaranteed profits with revolutionary software which takes all of the risk out of the equation. The software finds arbs, calculates how much to place on each side, and allows the trader to press the "Place trade" button, which then takes you to the bookmakers websites where you are left to trade the arb just like normal. AusSoft sell the software for something in the order of $7,800 AUD in Australia, while people in the UK have reported buying Arb-A-Trader from GlobalSoft for £5,500 (equal to over $13,000 AUD). Reevera are exactly the same organisation as AusSoft, they sell the same concepts, the same ways and their websites say much the same thing, however Reevera makes no mention of Arb-a-Trader, AusSoft, GlobalSoft or 'Colin Boyan' the claimed developer of Arb-a-Trader. None of the organisations offer any sort of trial version or period. Currency Converter

ArbWinner no longer exists as it has been acquired by ArbSeek.

Previous entry for ArbWinner:

ArbWinner is another software download program which has real time arbitrage information sent to your computer. They access over 80 bookmakers to find their arbs, while no information is given on what sports or betting types are scanned. Their service costs €50 per month, €120 for 3 months and €450 for 12 months. The software includes a calculator and an alert when it finds an arb (although their website doesn't tell you what alert it is exactly).Currency Converter

GotoBets

GotoBets Screenshot

GotoBets is a software based arbitrage alert service which updates from its servers every 60 seconds. Each arbitrage found has its bets automatically calculated when you select the arb based on a chosen default trade amount. GotoBets scans over 80 bookmakers for arbs in Soccer, Tennis, NFL, NBA, MLB and NCAA basketball and football. Unwanted bookmakers can be excluded from the display. When an arb is found, pressing the 'place trade' button will open two browser windows at the login screen for each bookmaker involved in the arbitrage, with the information required for the arb at the bottom of the browser window.

GotoBets is available for $69 per month. Currency Converter

Sports-Arbitrage / Risk Free Bets

Un-contactable | Arb Focussed

Sports-Arbitrage Screenshot

No longer taking new subscriptions (as of before 18 September 2006)

Sports-Arbitrage is clearly one of the founding sports betting arbitrage alert service websites. Available also from the Great Gambling Systems website, Sports-Arbitrage is a unique email based alert system which charges per arbitrage sent out, while the Risk Free Bets website uses the more traditional monthly subscription payment method. Accessing a huge list of 138 bookmakers, there is no indication of how many arbs they find on average, but there is a complete list of previous arbs. Scanning this list it would seem they find an average of 2 arbs per day, with occasional days with no arbs, and as many as 5 arbs on other days.

The cost of the Sports-Arbitrage version of the service is £1.35/message for the 1st message per day, £0.40/message for messages 2 & 3 on the same day and £0.20/message for subsequent messages. The Risk Free Bets method of payment costs £59.95 per month if you register on the automatic rebilling service, or £65.95 for 1 month, £179.95 for 3 months, £325.95 for 6 months or £589.95 for 12 months.

Sports-Arbitrage also provides a software alert service which appears to be the same as WinRiskFree which even they refer to as 'WRF' on their software page. Their software package covers the NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL, NCAAB, NCAAF, Tennis and Soccer. No more information is given about how many arbs it produces, or what bookmakers it uses, however I suspect it would identical to WinRiskFree. Currency Converter
